PERC 5/i is a PCI Express based Serial Attached SCSI RAID controller that provides enterprise class protection and performance for your Dell PowerEdge™ Server. With support for RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 10, and 50 PERC 5/i provides multiple protection options to suit a wide range of applications and non-critical data. It uses 3 Gbps SAS technology, which can deliver nearly four times the bandwidth of 320 MBps SCSI. PERC 5/i SAS connectors contain four SAS ports each for a total bandwidth of up to 12 Gbps, or 1200 MBps per connector. This product has been tested and validated on Dell™ systems to ensure it will work with your computer and is compatible with select Dell™ PowerEdge™ Servers . It is supported by Dell™ Technical Support when used with a Dell™ system. |  |
